Thank you for sharing your heart with us. My father-in-law died unexpectedly 6 weeks after we got married. These "ill-timed" experiences are so traumatic to marriage at the time, but looking back one can see how they build and shape us for the next cross to bear!

Thank you for your words. It’s true, things happen that seem so hard, but they give us strength for the future.

I love the Poetry of this, that which is stated, and that which is not. I love how your spirit walks gently through all you write, through all you share. This is priceless, and I am so glad you had the care and love to express these things and offer them to us.

I'm so sorry I didn't see this sooner! I couldn't have put it better than Kristin. You are an inspiration to me and it's been wonderful to see you grow and experience things and to finally marry Nick. I think you have a kind, mothering soul. I think God gives us family and children in many ways that aren't always through blood and those relationships are so precious! I know that doesn't always ease the pain, but I do know that God does see and understand that pain and blesses us with so many tender mercies. ❤️

Oh Mairi, what a beautiful, faithful testament this is! Thank you for sharing with such grace and vulnerability. What paradoxically perfect timing - and what a blessing you have been and continue to be in this world. I know you both have weathered a lot these past years, but you've been truly inspiring in the way you've continued to receive the redemption in that suffering and somehow shed even more light!
